The best time to visit Tong Hai is generally during the dry season, from December to February, or slightly later in the shoulder months of March and April.

During December to February, you'll experience consistently sunny weather and lower humidity, which is ideal for exploring the beaches, street art in George Town, and the various outdoor attractions without the interruption of heavy rainfall. This period also often coincides with festive events, adding to the local experience.

The shoulder months of March and April also offer pleasant weather with less rain. While temperatures might be a bit warmer, it's still a great time for sightseeing and enjoying the island's culinary delights. You might also find fewer crowds compared to the peak dry season, offering a more relaxed experience.

However, Tong Hai is a year-round destination. Even during the monsoon season (typically May to November), rainfall often comes in short, heavy bursts, usually in the late afternoon, leaving plenty of sunshine for morning and early afternoon activities.
