"This is a poor hotel overall. On the plus side, the gardens and pool area are pleasant and the Nile side seating delightful. On the negatives the rooms are very tired and ours was poorly cleaned and a broken but still live electric light, broken curtain, non working safe, dirty fridge and no plug for the sink. We had to chase housekeeping to get basic cleaning and some towels. The food at breakfast was poor quality mass catering. We didn't eat at the restaraunts as we heard people complaining about them several times. I wouldn't book here again. Avoid. "

"The hotel is immaculate. The breakfast buffet is enormous and the staff are very attentive. The hotel sits on the east bank of the Nile which gives a great view of the sunset. The only disappointments are the restaurants. They’re overpriced and the food is bland. "

"Misselling, scams and Salmonella - that's all this place will promise. View the photos to see for yourself. Firstly, we booked a two bedroom suite - what we actually got was an open plan suite with beds in different areas. Having a door to provide isolation and privacy is a legal standard (if purchasing from the UK). Beds could view directly into each other without any option of privacy. Also, bathrooms in this shared environment don't have locks on the doors. When I complained about this, I was told there were no other options and booking two separate bedrooms would incur a cost. Secondly, I was served raw chicken on Friday 03 April. By Sunday, Salmonella had fully kicked in. Whilst I was alerting staff to this, other people we're complaining about the same thing. They obviously didn't learn their lesson as another review from a couple of days ago shows raw chicken was served at breakfast, causing food poisoning again. Thirdly, we were informed that going to a restaurant other than the main buffet would be possible at a supplementary cost. We thought this was entirely reasonable and went to the Sway restaurant. The food there was enjoyable and the service was great, however we were charged 8x the agreed price at checkout and no-one was interested as to what we were promised. On a daily basis we complained that our air conditioning wasn't functioning - no-one came and fixed it which left us very uncomfortable, especially at night."

"The room we had was very nice, with a large balcony. The furnishings were beautiful, and the bed and linens were good quality. We enjoyed sunsets from the roof top deck. Check in process is a bit confusing, there is no front desk on site. If you have mobility issues, there are no lifts ask for a room on the ground floor. Amazing views of the Nile, large clean pool. Prior to booking, we were unaware that there is no restaurant on site, no shops or restaurants within walking distance, and food delivery services were unavailable. The hotel is a distance from town, so be aware of this-if you do not have a car, be prepared to take taxis to have a meal, bring some groceries with you (full fridge and microwave in the suite) "

"We had a wonderful experience with the host, Danielle, who was incredibly quick to respond to all our needs. Mohamed truly went above and beyond by ensuring my father was taken to the medical center with utmost care and for the transportation for our group. The house itself is impressively spacious, perfect for accommodating large groups comfortably. While it's about a 30-minute drive to the center, I had complete confidence in Mohamed's ability to manage all our transportation needs. He even took the initiative to arrange transport for our group to Hurghada, making our stay even more enjoyable. It’s clear that Mohamed is the main reason I’m giving this a five-star review!. "
