On Easter Saturday, guests are always invited to an Easter bonfire with bread-on-a-stick baking and sausage grilling.

Right by the Torfhafen is the old castle park and the market square with its shops, restaurants, bakery, supermarket, and ice cream parlour. Mondays are market days here, featuring many regional products.

At this DLRG-patrolled swimming area, you’ll find everything you need for a relaxing day on holiday: parking, freshwater showers, sunbathing areas on the grassy bank, a sandpit, and steps leading into the water. Behind the dike, there’s a popular beach snack bar.
