It's exactly what you expect for a hotel next to the main train station that isn't 5* luxury: you pay for the location not the hotel."

When I highligted this to the Reception, I was advised the view is subject to availability. I explained my concern & kept giving me the same explanation, the view is subject to availability!!"

"The room was very clean and quiet despite being very close to the Hauptbanhof. One can take S1 or S8 from Munich airport and you can literally walk to the hotel front in minutes. Spa facility was included in our fare. Their IsarBar makes fabulous cocktails so definitely worth it. It's walking distance to the old town, a few museums and beer gardens nearby. The only negative for me personally is that the pillows were very floppy so if you need firmer one, remember to ask the staff."
