"Great little cabin, like being at your grandma's place. Neat antiques throughout. Beds were comfortable. The setting is peaceful. The kids enjoyed tubing on the river and the vew from the deck is spectacular. We will definitely be back."

"Cabin location and the cabin were gorgeous!! The place was a little dusty and could use a better deep clean but it was still so enjoyable! The walk to the river was more difficult than expected so we didn’t do everything we had planned just because it was a difficult hike but we still enjoyed our time so much especially for the price!"

"We had a wonderful time at the cabin, plenty of sleeping space and open space for a large crew.. The jacuzzi was amazing and the game room the younger bunch favorite spot.. The only disappointment was that the walk too the river wasnt as accessible by foot as listed as I min... We had a wonderful time and hope too be back soon."

"We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! We had 7 family members and had plenty of room. We floated the river and put in at the Deep hole campground and came right to the cabin. It took and out 2 hours. The Cabin was incredibly well-stocked with everything we needed — from kitchen essentials. The cabin was clean and clearly well-maintained, which made us feel right at home. Every light switch was labeled, which made navigating the cabin so easy — such a thoughtful detail. One of our favorite parts was seeing wildlife every morning right from the cabin. We cooked out by the Pavillion both nights and sat by the fire both nights we were there. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable, memorable getaway! We will be returning."
The Roost - On The Toccoa River

"Overall, The Roost was a great mountain getaway for a few days before the craziness of the school year sets in. The home is remote, but we had no real issues with connectivity. The home was also well appointed with every need thought out for guests- kitchen supplies, towels, toiletries, etc. The rooms were spacious and perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the view of the Toccoa River and using the fire pit for S’mores each night. The only negative thing was that the home did have a damp feeling and smell throughout our stay. I did notice a tub of Damp Rid on top of the fridge. If you stay there, you might want to bring some small tubs with you. I understand that there’s not a whole lot to prevent that, and it did not impact our stay. I just thought I would mention it in the review. Otherwise, our stay was lovely, and we enjoyed our time away."
