  • Nestled on the edge of Exmoor, this charming annexe, once part of an historic farmhouse, offers a peaceful retreat in a picturesque village setting. Enjoy direct access to the stunning countryside via a nearby bridleway. The Annexe is part of the Blackerton Ecocentre, a community-led renovation project.

    There is plenty of living space with a large kitchen diner, with a table that seats 16; two lounges, one with a woodburner. Downstairs there's a basement pub/games room with a pool table and darts board. There are 7 bedrooms and plenty of flexibility in sleeping arrangements,

Fun weekend

Lovely property with bonus games room. Cosy bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. A very enjoyable stay.

Great set up for a large family or friends gathering with a range of ages - for us we were 16 people ranging in age from 3 to 90. large room big enough for everyone, attached to a kitchen again room for everyone, also a smaller lounge room and a basement bar, pool & darts board, again room for more than enough. The setting is very central to different parts where you could explore the countryside or go to the coast. Post code in the sat nav will take you directly to the accommodation and not just a post code area. Thank you to the hosts who saved our pizza night with much needed fuel for the fire and they could not do more to help. Whoever goes here will have to work hard to not enjoy your stay. Thank you again

Dads 70th

We had a great stay for my Dads 70th birthday. Lots of space for the price. We ranged from 7-70years old. 16 of us. They’re trying to make the outside space nicer which will be great when it’s completed. Comfy beds. Kitchen was great with a massive table for us all to sit round. Good value for money. Thanks for helping us celebrate my Dads 70th.

Fantastic for the price

Fantastic house for family gathering. Excellent space in the large lounge for whole family of 12 to hang out together. Kitchen well stocked with table to fit 12. Upstairs warm and cosy with comfortable beds.

Birthday celebration

The accommodation was perfect for our needs. The house is spacious, tidy and well equipped. We have not socialised much in the last 18 months and wanted somewhere to be able to get together without being on top of one another, as booked at a time we were unaware if further restrictions would impede other usual options. We all had a wonderful 2 night stay to celebrate a friend's birthday in a comfortable environment. The owners were friendly and helpful throughout the process. The accommodation was instrumental in the success of the overall celebration - could not be happier with my choice.

Great host

Victoria and Jake are the best hosts, with unambiguous instructions on arrival and detailed documents for how everything works. They provided a very comfy stay for us. The bedding was top quality- soft and fluffy. It was beautiful to wake up and to look out to the Exmoor park in the distance. The space inside of the property is vast, with plenty to do for everyone. Children particular enjoyed claiming up and down the three tiered bunk bed. All in all, great stay and wonderful host.
