Near famous water sandbar (Near bridge) that you can take a short boat ride to and anchor for a fun afternoon. You also have use of the dock for the week and there are boat rentals across the bridge! It is a great time during the summer on the lake but the fall is incredibly beautiful and there is so much to do including nearby hiking. For those of us that like to shop - the Tanger outlets are a mere 4 miles away! Funspot is nearby at Weirs beach and of course Meadowbrook for those outdoor concerts! And for those that like to Golf - there is Lochmere Golf course within a mile! Gunstock mountain is 15 - 20 minutes away for zip line, walking and tree top adventures. (Sledding and skiing during the winter)
