Hot Tub was great!

Location and Hot tub were great. Not much for dishes/containers. The dishwasher wasn't working for our trip and don't leave any food around anywhere, there is an ant issue apparently! Beds are HORRIBLE!!! Beds are HORRIBLE!

Coastal Getaway

We loved the location and the views. The hot tub was great and so fun being able to see the ocean while in it. The one thing we thought could be improved on was the beds. They were kinda bad. Also there was no media access for the TV in the room with the couch. Would have been great to be able to put the kids in there to watch some shows. Overall it was an enjoyable stay. Great Location but needs attention to detail

The location is amazing, just a short walk from our favorite beach on the coast. The unit has a great view and is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. If there was better attention to detail this would get a 5 star review. However, the mattresses were old, dirty, and badly worn out, making sleep difficult. Also there wrre only 4 hangers in the unit, which is an odd amenity to skimp on given the cost. If the mattresses were replaced I'd highly recommend.

Could have been amazing, but….

The house and location are great!! The hike to short beach was fun! Things that need attention: -The beds are TERRIBLE! You can’t move without squeaks and the entire bed shifting. New mattresses cost maybe $200 on Amazon and would make a huge difference. -There’s a coffee pot, but no filters or coffee. A keurig and k-cups would be a beneficial upgrade. Or simply communicating that we needed to provide filters would have been helpful. -The hot tub was grimy and there was a system note that said that the filter needed to be cleaned. Why did I pay a hot tub fee for a dirty hot tub? -While staying the neighbors had a dog that came on the property and used the bathroom in the yard….. -Twice I reached out before the trip with questions, including verifying the hot tub was in working order. I never got a response. These issues could have been avoided with better management and some simple upgrades that would cost less than the cost we paid to stay for the weekend.

Dissapointing stay

This rental was a major letdown. The beds were ANCIENT and uncomfortable, with one frame completely broken and just sitting on the floor. There was a musty smell throughout the house, dust on all of the baseboards, hair in the bathroom, and we had a nightmare of an ant infestation. These pests invaded multiple bedrooms, even getting into and destroying prescription medication that we had. We also found ants in our food that had invaded the kitchen. The kitchen was equally disappointing with outdated appliances, old cutlery, and worn-out cookware. The house itself had a torn carpet in the living room with nails sticking out where there was once a seam connecting the kitchen tile to the living room carpet which just added to the overall poor condition of the place. There also seemed to be what felt like constant surveillance from nosy neighbors who seemed overly interested in our activities. It felt like we were constantly being watched. The hot tub was the only saving grace, although it lacked any maintenance or instructions. The location was decent, with "short beach" within quick walking distance, but the limited options in the area made this house desirable to us when booking however after staying here and experiencing this place beyond just looking at photos, this rental was a complete let down and we would not stay here again.

Quiet Getaway

Great location - quiet, within walking distance of a beach. Great house with all the basics. Good location for small children - no knickknacks or fussy furniture, not too much trouble they can get into. Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful beach vacation!

What a wonderful vacation home thank you for sharing! Didn't get a very warm welcome from the neighbors but they pretty much kept to themselves had to call once and Cliff was WONDERFUL and HELPFUL! the house is located in a very central location to many activities and the beach and views are very nice!!!!

Great deal

Fabulous location and views, clean but spartan. The pullout couch in the 3rd bedroom is very uncomfortable for sleeping- it should be a bed, as there’s no reason to sit on the sofa in an empty white room with only an overhead light for company.

Quiet getaway

We love this place - it's small and quiet, great for kids, and has good access to the beach. It's well managed, clean, and has all the essentials. This is a great place if you need a weekend to recharge, or really want to get away from it all. Recommendations: the Tillamook Farmer's market was small but charming, and there are good fish markets in Garabaldi (also home to a great scenic railroad trip). Not much to "do", but that's not why you'd come here.

Oceanside Vacation

We LOVE staying at Oceanside because it is not a tourist hot spot! We have stayed at the cabins on the beach in Oceanside but because of last minute plans they were booked. We stay at the house on Radar Road and thought it was great. It might not be on the beach but we still had a little view of the ocean and we could hear the waves crashing. It was close to the beach and short drive to the Oceanside beach!!

We had a great time! The house had plenty of room for our familly of 3. Our 4 year old had a great time and the wifi made it easy to find things to do and places to go in the local area. Oceanside has a very nice beach and the Oregon Coast is wonderfull. We can't wait to come back again. The only thing I would change is the BBQ - it is a very small size and doesn't get very hot.

beautiful view! awesome beach!

Great location, great ocean views, easy walk to the beach, and a wonderful house and layout. We had such a wonderful time at this house. Just a very short walk to the beach; lots of agates and even a great tide pool if you get down there just at low tide. The house was wonderfully clean with a great selection of classic videos for kids. This house is a 30 minute walk from Oceanside, too. Our family had a great time here. Love it!!! Just a note, if you are interested in using the fireplace, bring your own wood.

Oceanside Gem

We couldn't have been more pleased with this house. It is off the beaten path and provided us with a central location for all of our excursions. The house was clean, neat and provided plenty of room for 3 couples. I had some concerns booking without looking, but if this house is any indication of the other Vacasa rentals then I am sold on this concept. The only other comment I have about this house is be prepared for the beach access. It is steep, but well worth the stair climb up and down.

Fabulous Secluded Ocean Beach

Rating: 5/5 Beautiful location for couple or family The location is fantastic and the home is just lovely for a couple or family. The secluded beach down below the home is breathtaking. Please note the main road in through Oceanside is closed for a number of weeks due to slide but you can take detour around Cape Meare which is not that much longer to drive. Beautiful Private Beach

Beautiful beach. A small hike down stairs to get there but the beach is secluded with three waterfalls and rock outcroppings. There are some waterfall "rivers" you have to cross to get down the beach which can be tricky with small kids. Rain boots might help. At low tide there are lots of starfish and agates everywhere. Town is very small with only one or two places to eat so be prepared for food. House was clean, nothing fancy but perfect for the price. Short drive to the lighthouse you can see from the beach. Short drive to tillamook cheese factory.

Not recommended

The house was fine. In the add for the home said it was 6 miles from Tillamook. If you are a bird that might be true, but I drive a car and it is probably at least 3 times that. The homes beds were squeaky and ancient. Now they are filing a claim against me that says I broke one if these beds. We did nothing other than sleep in them. I have been pleased with my past vrbo experiences. This is not a good experience
