### Baja Malibu Beach house - epic surf, pet and family friendly

My beach house is the perfect place to relax and enjoy some sun, sand, and waves with your friends and family. Wake up to the sound of the ocean and views of the coronado islands, then walk a hundred yards down quaint cobblestone streets to one of the biggest uncrowded sandy beaches in the area. Baja Malibu is a legendary surf spot, known for overhead waves and epic barrels! Or you can just enjoy wading, sunning, and taking long walks on the beach against the backdrop of a gorgeous sunset.   
  
The laid back beach community of Baja Malibu is out of the city but easily accessible off the coastal toll road - just a 20 minute drive from the border, and 10 minutes north of Rosarito Beach. Two spacious bedrooms, an open layout, and large sunny terrace with ocean views provide ample space to chill and grill. Furry friends are welcome too, with terra cotta tiled floors and two enclosed patios. A small grocery market, cafe/bakery, brewery, and several excellent restaraunts are close by if you want to stay local, or head into Rosarito for nightlife or Popotla for artisan markets and amazing seafood. If you´re looking for more adventures ask me about hiking, kayaking, and horseback riding on my ranch in La Mision (30 minutes south).

The place was so cute and clean and really well stocked with towels and chairs for a beach weekend. The beds were comfortable, and the place was impeccably decorated in a way that invited you to relax while still having a sense that you were in a special place- even the cats had a great time! The kitchen was cute and perfect for some light cooking though it was fully stocked. The beach is a short walk away and neighborhood very friendly. Danielle was really informative and communicative during the entire trip, though we do recommend reaching out to her directly via WhatsApp than the VRBO app. We can't wait to stay with her again and will definitely be horseback riding next stay!

Very Nice stay. Home is clean and welcoming with an ocean view over red tiled roofs. Kitchen is nicely functional and the Fiesta dish-ware adds a comfy Mexican feel. Enjoyed the large quiet beach ( just a short walk down the hill) and splashing in the Water. Lunch with family on the patio under the umbrella was a treat. Mostly quiet local neighborhood. Fun places to eat in San Antonio just a short walk up the beach to the North. Low key and very relaxing
