Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Tijesno?

The best area to stay in Tijesno is certainly around the main village centre and its immediate surroundings. This area provides the most convenience for visitors, with the majority of accommodation, restaurants, and shops clustered along the waterfront and the narrow streets leading away from it. The main promenade, stretching along the marina, is where you'll find many of the local eateries and cafes. It's a compact village, making everything easily accessible on foot.Couples looking for a relaxing getaway will appreciate staying here. You'll be steps away from the water, with opportunities for boat trips to nearby islands or simply enjoying the views from a waterfront restaurant. The small, secluded beaches just a short walk from the centre offer a peaceful spot for sunbathing and swimming. For those attending the Garden Festival, staying in the village centre or just a short walk away is ideal. It provides easy access to the festival site at The Garden Resort, often just a 10 to 15-minute walk along the coastline.

When is the best time to go to Tijesno?
