Located in the picturesque village of Kames on the West Coast of Scotland, the holiday apartment features three bedrooms, ideal for families or couples who are looking for modern comforts in a charming coastal location. Newly refurbished to a high standard Findhorn is filled with modern décor and quality furnishings throughout, designed to suit the discerning guest looking for that extra home comfort and style. The living room features stylish and contemporary furnishings, settle into the comfortable sofas and gaze out through the large windows overlooking the famous Kyles of Bute. Soak up the ever changing vistas from this wonderful living space. For entertainment there is free Wi-Fi and a Smart TV. The well equipped kitchen features all your modern appliances. Ideal for cooking up a feast with delicious local produce. The kitchen area includes a small dining table seating four, and a breakfast bar, a lovely space to gather. There are three well-furnished bedrooms. A Master double bedroom with stunning sea views, a small double bedroom and a single bedroom. The family bathroom features a walk-in shower, hand basin and toilet. Bedroom 1: Double bed, wardrobe, bedside tables, sea views Bedroom 2: Small double bed, wardrobe, bedside table, garden views (room is cosy compact) Bedroom 3: Single bed, bedside table, sea views Maximum 4 adults only and 1 child under 12. Guests have access to an outdoor area within their own private garden and grassed area. Includes outdoor furniture with side sea views. Back gate leads to local walks and local golf course. Also, a maintained grass area opposite front garden on the shorefront leading to a pebble beach. Access to the property is via an exterior staircase. Set in an ideal position on the waterfront in Kames, fabulous for walks along the esplanade. The perfect holiday getaway to relax and escape from the rest of the world. Just a short walk to Kames Village is the Kames Hotel, a friendly hotel bar restaurant and welcoming locals. Kames is tucked away on the West Coast of Scotland, also known as Argyll's Secret Coast. Nearby is the main street of Tighnabruaich where you will find local arts and crafts, cafes and further pubs. Bordered by Loch Fyne and the Kyles of Bute, this is an area of stunning natural beauty, with hills, glens, rugged coastlines, white beaches, clear waters and ancient forests. The whole area is steeped in Highland history and dotted with ruins, castles and ancient sites. Just over 4 miles away is Portavadie, the well known marina, with a leisure spa, indoor swimming pool, outdoor infinity pool, jacuzzi and 2 restaurants. Explore further afield to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, the Isle of Bute, and historic Inveraray, it's also an easy day trip to Oban, one of the seafood capitals of Scotland. Great equipped kitchen for easy entertainment. Brilliant location with great food serving hotel within walking distance. The only negatives were the shower room was constantly wet due to a gap at the bottom of the shower door. Also the second double bedroom was very small and impractical for 2 adults to sleep comfortably, however, the single room was there and was useful. I must say that the above did not in any way spoil our holiday, but worth mentioning in case any larger people were wanting to stay . The information provided was great and the owners were very helpful and clearly have spent a lot of time and love on the property. Firstly, it is in one of the most beautiful parts of the world. We discovered Argyll and Bute last year and were absolutely blown away by its beauty and swore to go back and when we saw Findhorn we were really excited to return. The first thing that strikes you is the location. You are right on the water on the Kyles of Bute and the apartment has its own private pebble beach. The view from the living room window is breathtaking and you could just spend hours sitting looking at the view. The apartment itself is very clean and comfortable. The hosts have thought of everything - wonderfully comfy beds with squashy pillows and fluffy duvets, a really well stocked kitchen, beautiful decor....it feels really homely and welcoming. We loved the property so much we spent a lot of time around it walking, kayaking, running so we didn't really venture out that far. The Kames Hotel is down the road and a lovely place for a drink and Tighnabruich is also only 2 miles away and a lovely walk with lots more bars and restaurants if you are looking to eat out.
