The staff were not very friendly or helpful; the cleaners were, by contrast. Even though the temperature was still in the 80s, the pool was closed. There were signs for a spa, but none was on the property. We paid for a room with a balcony and a view, but the balcony wall is too tall, and the chair is too short to see the view, so it's not worth paying extra unless you're content to view it standing up or from inside. A sign on the balcony said, Please don't open the balcony door; there are many insects outside. Unlike other reviews, we had a key card, and the room looked renovated and was comfortable. The location is very inconvenient for walking, and part of the main coastal road to and from the hotel was closed, so our GPS kept trying to send us there until we entered a different location. We skipped breakfast, which seemed overpriced and not up to the standard of those at better hotels.

I had a lovely stay here, the hotel was great, offering a breathtaking view to the sea of Galilee. All staff were wonderful and welcoming, the lady reception manager was most helpful in providing assistance as I needed a taxi upon my departure/checkout. All other reception staff were wonderful too. Restaurant staff and housekeeping staff were fantastic, very helpful and always had a smile 😁 All other staff members from other departments I had some across were also wonderful too 🙂 I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to visit for a few days, or maybe longer 👍

King Solomon Hotel in Tiberies is well managed and it’s beautiful. Excellent staffs. Thé réceptions are one of a kind, they are well mannered, thanks to Muhammad, his patient & communication is superb. Safa is good too. And to crown it all thd manager Shoki. Mr. Shoki Is an excellent manager. Thank you King Solomon of Tiberies and thank you Mr. Shoki, you execute your job well, and with so much respect. Will go back here. Highly recommend!! One more : I notice the cleaner, can’t recall his name, short not sure if he’s Chinese or Philipines, but daam He’s such a hard worker. One has to notice. Unfortunately I never heard a word with him. Expensive for what you get...

The hotel is under renovations and it isn't mentioned on the description. We asked to cancel an hour after booking when we found out and the hotel refused. The hotel asked for additional 17% taxes which were in small print of the booking page (misleading!) Note that they charge per person in the room and not per room even if it has double bed. The hotel is quite old and the access to the pool is far and not accessible with stroller (lots of stairs). The food in the hotel was tasteless and dry, not to our liking. The good part was the view from our room and the size of the room (suite with lake view)

mixed. my second time. DEfinately cheaper than most of the other places. The building is kinda outdated but on the plus side. Food is Kosher, minyan is onsite and they have shabbos locks. had an issue as someone blocked me ... so I couldnt get out of the parking lot. While this was a small issue for me, I can see this being huge for some others. Not alot of parking spaces so on crowded days..... this can be an issue.

Beautiful view from my top floor room. Room itself was nice but even though recently renovated it’s already starting to show some wear. (Little things like laminated cabinet by door starting to peel.) Not a great neighborhood in terms of places to walk to. Beach is a 45 minute walk even though it looks like you are close by. But the staff was gruff and at times unfriendly (if I don’t understand Hebrew when you’re yelling at me that the pool is closed, and you just yell the same thing louder, I still don’t understand Hebrew. Though after I yelled back he seemed to mellow out.) I felt like I was interrupting any time I asked for assistance. Nobody welcomed me or seemed to care that I was there spending money at their establishment. It was Shabbat so maybe they were tired from the surge of Israeli staycationers. One thing I did appreciate (a lot) was the front desk person allowing me a late checkout due to some unforeseen circumstances.

Was more a 3 star hotel than a 4 star - the pictures on hotels.com certainly regarding the rooms are very selective - ours was old and weathered - only 2 lifts in the hotel fir guests - took an age - poor check in procedure - not enough staff on the desk
