First was the smell of smoke whereby I requested a non-smoking room. The in room dining menu stated it was available up to 10pm but when I called at 9.45pm, I was told it was no longer available. Lastly, my colleague who book into the same room category received fruit basket and dumpling whereas I did not have any welcome items. It was terrible! Unbelievable There are no seats in the lobby! I sit in the lobby and waited my wife . The bar staff, Alice, said you can not sit here unless you order something! Unbelievable, the customer of the hotel can not site in the lobby! Also the baby said I offer you free water and then you can stay on the seats in the lobby. It is not acceptable! It made feel terrible! I report to the manger in the front desk. He did I not thing! Just said you can sit the seat. That is it! The reception staff was very slow, but that happens very often in China. The restaurant's evening buffet and breakfast catered well for the Asian guests, but was really not for my Northern European taste. Also the ingredients didn't seem that fresh and there were not enough options for vegetarian diet. My room carpet got wet after taking a bath, and I don't even know how it is possible because there is a wall in between. The carpet looked damaged.
