River Trail House - River and 4 Bedrooms

  • Make some memories at this unique, private, family-friendly place!

    We offer River "Access" and four Bedrooms with two bathrooms. Best of all, your family pet is welcome!

    The River is Not visible from the house, but it's just a short walk down the driveway to your little beach. (The other side of the river is a vacation rental, too, so you may see other people!)

    This home offers four bedrooms: two with King-Size Beds and two with queen-size beds. Two shared bathrooms are in the hallway. There is a living room and a fully stocked kitchen. Other amenities include a full-size pool table, dart board, WiFi, Netflix, and Propane BBQ—yes, we supply the propane, washer and dryer, and Outdoor Patio Furniture. You can also explore the four acres of land for additional activities.


    ***River access is yours to enjoy with family and friends, although You cannot see the river from the house. Please be advised the river is a short walk from the house and not recommended for guests with stability issues as it is a dirt path with rocks***

This lovely home situated near the Kaweah River is a great spot to launch Sequoias National Park adventures from. Evenings by the fire or around the pool table round out the experience nicely.

The house was absolutely perfect. Location was perfect. The walk to the river is as advertised & amazing views & privacy. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with plates & utensils for our party of 9. The beds were unbelievably comfortable. I would highly recommend this house & i hope to return.

Perfect for our three families with small children. The house is well stocked with cookery and nice open layout is good for kids and adults. Lots of outside area to play in. Super clean and comfortable.

River Fun

We just visited in July 2024 and were very pleased with the house cleanliness and layout it was perfect for our yearly family trip. Close enough to visit the Sequoia's and Kings Canyon area but the highlight was the river for us! Just down the driveway a perfect beach and swimming hole, the whole family loved it!

Great spot to hang out with family

Went with family for a visit to Sequoia. Proximity to the park, market and restaurants was terrific. The home is spotless, well supplied for cooking needs, has comfortable beds with nice linens, bathrooms have plentiful nice quality towels, ample space for dining and hanging out in the living room, and everyone enjoyed the use of the pool table. Additionally, we loved the short walk to a beautiful, private spot on the river, and enjoyed sitting in the chairs on the front porch watching the quail, turkeys, jays, and hummingbirds. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Ideal Home Base For Our Family Getaway!

The home was exactly as advertised and met all of our needs. The location near Sequoia made it easy for our family of 6 to explore the park without having to venture too far at the end of the day. The home was exceptionally clean, had everything we needed and was very comfortable for our family. There was a maintenance issue with one of the showers and the responsiveness was incredibly quick. Not sure how the repairman got there so fast! We were there in the "offseason," so restaurants were limited, but we HIGHLY recommend Tony's Taverna on Wheels! If we make a return trip to the area, we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great stay!

Enjoyed the property! Was private, yet close to restaurants and park entrance. Our teenagers liked the pool table, just needed 3 more darts for the dartboard to play an actual match. River was beautiful and easy to access if you have the right shoes. It was a bit too high to actually swim in, but lounging on the rocks and wading in the cool water on those couple of 100+ degrees was very refreshing! The power in the whole area went out one evening so was glad to see candles in the house, but they may need some newer ones soon. After it came back on, the office & maintenance guy were super quick to respond to get the water pump back in business for us. Would definitely consider staying here if we were to return one day!

Amazing river house

Amazing house mostly secluded on a hill and super private. The river as mentioned in the post is not accessible easily but the private river beach was awesome. The refrigerator didn’t work but we purchased ice and the property manager said they would look into it. All the rooms were comfortable and even the couches were comfortable for sleeping. There’s a charming town on the way in with cute shops to check out.the national forest is like 20 minute drive. The only thing I had an issue with was driving my Honda civic on the road leading up to the house because my car is low is scraped a lot on the pot holes and gravel but still made it up.

Had a perfect trip

Everything was perfect. The location was prefect because there is a river at walking distance and if you want to go to the sequía trees and activities you can just do an hour drive up and you’re there. Also there was a couple markets like 5-10 mins away if you need to buy any forgotten or finished grocery or anything really like snacks and food. The beds had good size varieties and they were very comfortable and had many pillows to choose from. The Bathrooms were spacious and very clean. the showers water pressure was great. There was even a blow dried and hair cruller if anyone was wondering and many towels for everyone. The kitchen was beautiful. It had everything you would need to cook anything, only thing missing was some tongs, everything else you think you might need it’s there! The pool table was so much fun! We had and wonderful experience!

Peace & quiet by the river

This was the perfect location to spend our family Thanksgiving holiday together with our adult kids and their partners, this year. Location was perfect- down a secluded private road, away from the main bustle of the town of Three Rivers, but close enough to dash to the store for a gallon of milk or some delicious take-out pizza. The "noisy neighbors" were only the owls & coyotes at night, and once in a while,during the daytime, the adorable donkey next door would let out a brief, braying outburst. Just a LOT of natural beauty. The kitchen was well-equipped to make the usual "turkey with all the trimmings" feast and also a half-dozen other big family meals. Beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms spotlessly clean. Best of all, the plumbing was not "mysterious" - really easy to tell how to turn it on, make it warmer or colder! (this is becoming a rare treat in rental properties!) Be aware the house is on a septic system & well. We found the tap water delicious. :-) We really enjoyed the pool table & dart board during our evenings at home, when we weren't playing one of their board games in front of the toasty, gas-flame fireplace. On the sunny days, it was beautiful to stroll down to the riverside to their private-access waterfront area. Just an hour's drive away is the General Sherman tree in Sequoia National Park; many other hiking trails and nature adventures are available in the area. Staff were very responsive to every request we made. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Great stay! Very private home with huge comfortable beds. It was clean with a well stocked kitchen. We took advice from a previous visitor and brought our own darts and had so much fun with the dart board and pool table. Beautiful hiking nearby and of course in Sequoia. All 8 of us had a great time and didn’t feel cramped. There was even a small Christmas tree for our holiday stay. Would stay again.
