"The Hampton Inn was a delight after a long day on the road. The town itself was basically a collection of smoke shops and bars, but the hotel was clean, comfortable, and calming. Having a washer/dryer with the ice and vending machines (on each floor) was a nice touch. I didn't have an opportunity to use the pool or other amenities, but others seemed to enjoy them."
"Room was very basic but also very clean.
I good choice if you just want a cheap, clean room
for a night's sleep.
The building and grounds are old and desperately in need of
repairs, maintenance and upgrading."
"I will say that my rating of this place is higher that what I would normally rate this kind of place because the owners were very nice and very sweet people. I was on a long drive back for a move driving up from Albuquerque, NM and after 15 hours just needed a place to crash. If that is all you are needing and wanting in a place then this place can be good for you. The only thing was with my room there was a strong odor when I initially walked in but overtime my nose adjusted."
"There was “construction” so no good coffee or decent breakfast. We got a bag with a muffin, apple, graham crackers, a bottle of water and a nutrigrain bar. If I’d known this I may have considered staying somewhere else. Otherwise decent room although no full length mirror which to me is annoying. Nice property and location, I would stay here again when construction is complete."
La Villa - Hagerman: Within walking distance to many fine local eateries!
10/10 Excellent
"This place is charming and very inviting. The beds are comfortable and there is a nice kitchen and a laundry-room. The town is so convenient, grocery store, places to eat all within walking distance. It was a quiet part of town that was friendly and felt safe and comfortable. The host was very responsive. I would definitely recommend. "
"Our group stayed here for the 2026 Rock Chuck festival. Hosts were fantastic and extremely helpful. Couldn’t of found a better place to stay! Will be back! "
