"This is an older motel that when speaking with the lady at the desk said was just acquired by a new owner last fall. They have done a lot of work to the rooms and exterior of the building with all new everything in the rooms. It is an older place but it being brought up to modern standards and amenities. They are still in the process of getting their vintage sign restored and a few exterior upgrades but I would highly recommend. Has the potential to be one of the nicest motels in the Luray area. "

Amazing Grace is aptly named to describe a place where the spirit of Shenandoah comes to life. The home is spacious, well equipped and unique in capturing this “spirit of Shenandoah”.We had 6 family members, ranging from grandparents to grandchildren. We indeed experienced Amazing Grace. "Wonderful, clean house on a beautiful property! Loved the creek running alongside- so peaceful. This place had all essentials and more- even a cute basket of s’mores supplies, and a basket of tennis balls for the dogs! Thank you for being a pet-friendly rental. GREAT location to the park!! "

"Visited the farmhouse last weekend with my mother, husband, sister-in-law and two dogs. The main purpose of the trip was just to have a little getaway to do something with Mom at a location where our 14 month old Australian Shepherd would have plenty of room to run around. We all had a wonderful time, especially our pup, who played to her heart’s content. Communication with the host was outstanding! And the inside of the house was immaculately clean. While we enjoyed having 16 acres available to us, it is worth noting that the majority of the property is wooded with a lot of tall grass and at the time of year we were traveling ticks were a huge issue. So unfortunately, after pulling a bunch of ticks off of ourselves and our dogs, we really limited ourselves to the front yard, which was more than adequate. Of course the tick situation was no one‘s fault. Nature is nature. It’s just worth noting, and during other months of the year would not be a concern at all. I might even consider returning in the winter to enjoy the fire pits and snowy trails with the dog."

"Beautiful property, big yard, really nice space. Quick drive to the Thornton Gap park entrance. This was a great place to rest and relax after exploring the park all day. Nice kitchen, with everything you need. We had no cell reception and there is no WiFi (fine with us), so we relied on board games & cable TV for entertainment, which was plenty. "

"We had a great time at the Spidey Lodge! Excellent location for visiting Shenandoah National Park being about 15 minutes from the central entrance. We only stayed a couple nights, but could have easily stayed a few more. Host was extremely responsive and showed interest in ensuring we had a good experience. Overall fantastic stay!"
