"This 3* hotel faces the Lincoln Cathedral and is near to Lincoln Castle. Plenty of onsite parking at £7/day. Unusually extensive breakfast and lunch/dinner menus with a quality of cooking that deserves 4*. Rooms are a good size for 3* and the hotel is about to carry out some renovations (Oct 2026). If you need to be close to the shopping area of Lincoln this may not be the best choice but as a touring base it's very good."

"A really charming hotel in the historic centre of Lincoln with booked parking. All staff are friendly and welcoming. Our bedroom was beautiful with traditional touches, huge and very comfortable bed, excellent bathroom facilities. We attended for a small private function, the a la carte menu was superb with great attention to detail and staff ensured we had everything needed. Breakfast was cooked to order with a buffet table containing very good quality cheeses etc. Overall, we were absolutely delighted with our stay. This hotel exudes charm, old fashioned values with modern twists and the staff are the icing on the cake. Loved it!"

"The room was nice and very handy fir the family wedding we were attending. We booked a twin room which worked out well as the beds were in semi separate areas. I was disappointed with breakfast as poached eggs weren't available and I don't like scrambled. There were cereals, yogurts, apples and pears which for £15 didn't seem to be the variety I was hoping for as I'm a big breakfast fan. If you're a meat eater my adult children said the full breakfast was nice."
