"We had a big and beautifull room with a big and comfy bed. The bathroom was also spacious with a big enclosed shower, great for not showeing the hole bathroom and everything in it while taking a shower. Our room was on the 3 floor so we had a nice view over the pool with palm trees. We did not use the pool that much. It is a tiny pool with only 4 sunbeds so you have to be early to get a spot. But its only 10 min walking to the beach. Very clean. Very nice and helpfull staff. Great location....

"The Baan Manali is an excellent resort for the price. It's on a lovely stretch of beach, they serve up amazing food and drinks, wifi is excellent and staff are very friendly. The rooms are a bit dated, but this adds to the charm of the resort. You won't find many good restaurants nearby, but this is the case in most areas and a scooter hire is almost essential in Koh Phangan if you want to explore the island and restaurants."

The ladies who clean the rooms are great but everyone else looks like theyd rather be anywhere else. "This property has its share of online detractors, and there’s possibly a grain of truth in many of the comments. But seriously dude we’re all here for the view, and it sure delivers beyond expectations. Get yourself a brownie and do not miss the Saturday pool party, and shut up about the 600B minimum spend - it’s a bargain and best day ever. My ocean view room had everything required, a killer view and jungle serenity. Then there is the driveway. You’ve heard of it by now. I feel like they would do well to organise a vehicle shuttle up and down but until then, it’s all part of the fun. Kyeizu tin ba deh!"
