Property could use some updating. Blinds at the window are needed.

This was the worst VRBO experience I have ever had. It is the first time that I have not been able to stay in a property I've booked and I've used VRBO extensively. There was a leak in the ceiling of the property that obviously had gone undetected for a period of time as the condo smelled very musty and the carpets/floors were soaked. The one positive was that we did get an immediate response as far as them showing up, but there was really nothing that could be done to salvage the property immediately. We checked in quite late in the evening as we were traveling from downstate. Crystal Mountain resort, where this property was located, offered us an open property, which cost 206 more than this property. I was initially told to provide the invoice for review and consideration for reimbursement of the overage, but then was later informed that they were declining to reimburse me for the overage. This property was managed by Vacasa, which I am now hearing has a negative reputation. This is the only negative review I have ever left, so be forewarned.
