"This home on Sebago Lake is everything we hoped for and more. The house is very spacious with lots of rooms and beds to comfortably spread out. Beds, pillows, linens were all new, clean, and comfortable. Towels, including beach towels for the lake, were plentiful. The kitchen was large, well organized, and well stocked with every manner of dishes, utensils, cups/mugs, appliance, etc. We cooked most of our meals at the house including a cookout with local family in attendance and found everything we needed already there. The owners also thoughtfully provided a good supply of consumable items for use such as TP, paper towels, dishwashing and laundry detergent, bath soaps and hair products. Overall, very clean and a real at-home feel.As wonderful as the house was, the Location is still the star of the show. The property is immaculate and the online images of the view of the lake and nearby islands are entirely accurate. On a quiet road, it felt very isolated even with neighbors on both sides. The stairs into the lake were very sturdy. The dock is a great size and made for the perfect place for jumping off and tying up the pontoon boat we rented for a day. Kettle Cover Marina is a short 5 minute boat ride away. The kayaks and SUP boards under the deck were great fun as well.Last but not least, the owners were great to work with. Always fast to respond to questions, and provided lots of info about the property and surrounding area. We will be back."

"It was a good experience overall, other than a couple of guys inspecting the back of the property one morning. And we had yard work happening one morning. Later that week, both of the entrances to the cottage were being paved while we were out, and we had no way back to the property . All in all it was an ok experience."

"Cute cabin, Not maintained. We arrived late evening to the cabin with all sheets / towels all dirty on the floor. After multiple calls, property manager texted that the cleaner did not show. A new cleaner would come the next day but there are clean sheets in the garage. The tables were sticky, the carpet dusty as if it has never been vacuumed. The lovely cleaning person arrived after lunch and took the dirty pile of sheets and made our beds, which was nice of her. After a day of swimming the shower turned out so clogged that we couldn’t get more than one shower in. The property manager called a plumber , who fixed the drain and left all the hair gunk in the bathroom. There is dog poop in the yard. The property manager says he asks guests to pick up after their dog. All the glass wear and cooking pans were dirty too. There is no dishwasher, which is fine …. But all of this should Not be responsibility of the visitor. It is a high rate per night to pay for such poorly maintained place. the Manager needs to own the cleanliness and functionality of their rental. The manager needs to have someone come check for dog poop after renting to folks with dogs. The manager needs to get confirmation from their cleaning folks if they did not show prior to having people check in so that they can find a backup cleaning person. The shower would have been checked for clogs if the cleaning was actually done…. Ever!"
