A day trip to the old watertown of Nanxun while I was living in Shanghai a few years ago.

Nanxun is one of the least frequently visited watertowns in Huzhou by foreigners. There are 6 famous ancient watertowns in Shanghai area. They are Zhujiajiao (朱家角-nearest), Zhouzhuang (周庄-most commercialized), Xitang (西塘-smallest but nice), Wuzhen (乌镇-biggest & worth staying a night), Tongli (同理-small & quiet, nearest to the Silk outlet malls) & Nanxun (南浔-least public transport with connection to Shanghai). Been to all of them and if you like photography you won't be disappointed!
