"This is a house that dates from 1869 that is kept in that style with lots of old time features, it has got sir con and modernish bathrooms., but if you want taking back in time this is a place to stay. The staff are great and the breakfast too."

"Very unique setting; loved the ambience. Rooms clean, not cramped, didn't get to use pool, hot tub or sauna but they looked wonderful. Great breakfast, too. Would definitely stay again. "

"What a beautiful gem of a house! I loved the different tiers of space. 3 living areas was perfect. The beds were super comfy and the back yard was so peaceful. Coming from the city with airplanes, L train, and highway noise, this was just a dream come true. We moved our son into ISU without a kink, and being so close to campus was perfect for us. We would definitely stay here again."
"I liked that it was right off the highway easy to find. The staff was nice and friendly very knowledgeable. I really didn't have to go out to eat. They had their own restaurant. But when I did go out everything was close and convenient. The rooms were nice and comfortable and housekeeping was very nice and friendly and came and clean my room for the duration stay I was there. Overall that was a great place to stay."
