"When we arrived all the electrical power was off. Storms had downed power lines in the area. It could have been a disaster for us. The staff went above and beyond their normal duties to get us in our room. The power was to be on in a few hours. Went went site seeing of the area. When we came back the power was on. Thank goodness. We love the resort. I believe it opened in 1952 but it look like it opened in 2015. It was fully renovated and super clean. Food for breakfast was very good and dinner was great."

"Great place to get away and enjoy nature. They had everything ready for us that we could possibly imagine. Even had lots of firewood for our nightly campfires. Loved the comfy coziness of the house. I particularly enjoyed the all of the cedar doors and woodwork. The deck was amazing and spacious along with the rooms and living area. We were just minutes away from many places to kayak and fish! It was amazing!"

"The house was a 70ish vibe which I loved. A frame with spiral stairs to go up and downstairs. 1 bedroom on the main floor so if you bring a dog they will probably want to stay on the main floor. Big open space in the living room, 3 queen beds were comfy, there was a trundle bed upstairs as well as the Queen bed. The view of the lake was amazing lots of outside seating overlooking the water. Lake life bugs. Mayflies were horrible so bring bug spray. We couldn’t get in the door without a TON flying in w us. Luckily they are just pests and they don’t bite. The spray really helped! The fun we had out weighed the battle w the bugs. Host was outstanding with communication. The use of the boat for free during the week was such a great experience. We had a great experience would definitely go back and bring more friends and family."

"There were dead bugs all over the floors. In the kitchen, the cabinet and needed to be repaired. The shower on the main floor could use a new showerhead. The faucet in the sink in the bathroom on the main floor drips constantly. There is no cushion in the rocking chair in one of the bedrooms upstairs. You might consider putting shades or blind on the windows upstairs for little ones go to bed before the sun goes down."

"It was perfect for us. Hot tub was hot and worked great. Host was very responsive and check-in and check-out was easy. It was roomy and the fire pit area and games inside were fun. "
