The grounds and beach areas are absolutely gorgeous. We stayed at the Grand Hyatt with an ocean view room. While we could certainly see the ocean, we had to look over a parking garage and dumpsters to see the ocean in the distance. I would recommend spending extra and staying at the SLS (which I would rate 4 stars) or Rosewood (which I would rate 5 stars) and avoid the Hyatt altogether since it’s really a 3 star hotel. We really felt like second class guests since certain amenities advertised with this property are only available to Rosewood guests. Food is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE even for an upscale resort, which is disappointing. For example, we went to Paris last year and ate at some of the most renowned and exclusive French restaurants for less than the price of French restaurants on the resort.

Great location, lovely staff, special shoutout to Taj who was just lovely! My husband and I stayed in a basic double room, the bedroom area was comfortable and clean, the bathroom was OK but did need some updating. Absolutely stunning beach and super quiet, we felt very relaxed and rested! Would recommend Bon Vivant fur cocktails and Mi & B for brunch, both walking distance.
