It was less than a five minute drive to the Blue Mountain resort where we spent a lot of our days. We did not use the kitchen for cooking but it was fully stocked with all of the supplies you would need to make a meal. I only have 2 minor complaints - the floor was a bit sandy by the door (and the chair by the fireplace had some sand on it too) and the bathroom toiletries were missing from both bathrooms (shampoo, conditioner and body wash). Not a big deal for us as we brought our own but it did state in the room description that they would be supplied. Other than that there were no issues. It was very convenient as home base to and from Blue Mountains, the Scenic Caves and Collingwood. We weren't looking for a couples oasis, we were just looking to get away for a few days and have the comforts of home. Compact kitchen had everything we needed to prepare the few meals we had. Everything was clean and tidy. The downstairs bed is great for one person but is not the greatest for a couple because it sinks towards the middle and I kept hitting my toes on the wood base. Bath towels stained and discoloured. Patio dirty chairs filthy no table and the screen door fell off as soon as you touched it. Air conditioning upstairs constantly ran, toilets didn’t flush properly. Very very disappointing would ask to be compensated for the inconvenience and refunded our money.
