I chose the ones by the sea. They were a bit noisy due to the pounding surf. Next time would choose the garden chalets across the road, which would be quieter. Nice swimming pool. Staff brought breakfast to our chalets which was a nice touch. A table and chairs on the balcony would be preferable. Don't expect a sandy beach. We stayed in the garden view room/chalet with two double beds. Very comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast was supplied and was good. The hotel pool was excellent. The sea at the beach next to the hotel was very muddy for some reason. Didn't seem to be a permanent thing as the sand wasn't muddy. The location of the resort means that transport is required. There is a nice restaurant across the road with some good Western and Thai food. Some other restaurants within walking distance that we didn't try. Some good, clean beaches within a 10 - 15 minute drive and some beautiful forested headlands nearby too. Beware of snakes though and it's best not to feed the monkeys. The area takes a bit of getting to know as there is an estuarine water system that makes the road system rather complicated.
