"Highly recommend this property for a quiet getaway. Our family of four (two older teen boys) stayed the weekend before most schools are back in session. The beach community was quiet, no rowdy neighbors, and the overall atmosphere of the neighborhood was calm and friendly. The beach house had everything we needed for an stress-free stay. The pier provided excellent fishing opportunities. The porches were perfect for enjoying the bay and the house was just right for the four of us. Town was about an 8 minute drive away. There are plenty of excellent restaurants, boutiques, bait shops for fishing, and gas/ groceries options. My favorite part was not traveling with groceries and, instead, placing a convenient HEB curbside order. One quick round trip later and we were perfectly stocked for the weekend. My only recommendation to have made this vacation 10 out of 10 would be for some better mattresses. The beds were too firm in all three bedrooms. Otherwise, this stay checked every single box. Regardless of the mattresses, we would book this stay again in a heartbeat. 9.5 out of 10 from our family. "
