This first floor apartment is all on one level leading out into a secure, private garden. There is private parking outside, excellent Wi-Fi and lots of space. Large high-ceiling, spacious rooms with original wood breams with lots of personal touches. It was recently refurbished to provide a stylish, well appointed space containing: Our large living and dining room with: Two sofas, side tables and 42 inch smart TV A dining area Shelves full of books to browse and window seats looking over the Millennium Green A desk workspace area with fast wifi. Our fully equipped chefs kitchen includes all mod cons, including: Dishwasher Washing machine Integrated microwave Induction hob Chef's knives Bone china dinnerware. Our luxury bathroom has heated towel rail, walk in power shower and vanity area and some essential toiletries. The bedroom enjoys a super-king size bed with a Hypnos hotel mattress, 400+ luxury Egyptian cotton bedsheets, wardrobe, dressing table area and a smart TV. This leads out onto our lovely cottage garden with outdoor lounge seating, outdoor dining table and chairs, a chiminea fire and a BBQ for alfresco dining. We also welcome up to two dogs and provide a dog welcome pack. Our private garden is secure for dogs. There is an allocated parking space about 80m from the property and free street parking. We have a shared entrance to the building and it is one flight of stairs up to the entrance to our apartment. Tetbury and the surrounding area: From our property, it is a very short walk up Gumstool Hill to enjoy all the restaurants, bars, shops & antiques in Tetbury. We are also right next to some fabulous countryside walks. Simply cross the Green outside our apartment to enter the walking path that connects to The Tetbury Trail and other walks in the area. Hire bikes are also available here for cycling adventures. Gumstool Hill is a beautiful, historic street and site of the famous Tetbury Woolsack Races in May. The Millennium Green opposite the house has a pretty river running beside it and from here you can access the Tetbury Goods Shed Arts Centre where you can enjoy refreshments or visit one of their art exhibitions. This is also where you can pick up one of the main walking routes through Tetbury. Also just across the Green, you will find the Royal Oak Pub, a friendly gastropub with a large attractive garden and cosy corners for winter dining. A short stroll up the hill brings you into the centre of Tetbury where you can find a plethora of restaurants, cafes, pubs, interiors and gift shops as well as the Tetbury antiques shops and market. Tetbury is a thriving market town in the southern Cotswolds and a great jumping off point for exploring this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Local highlights also include: Highgrove House (King Charles' residence) on the outskirts of Tetbury - his gardens are open to the public and there is a lovely restaurant in the grounds. Westonbirt Arboretum, the National Arboretum, which is stunning and is home to over 2,500 species of tree from all over the world plus the host of several events and outdoor concerts including a lovely Christmas lights show. The famous Gatcombe Horse trials at Gatcombe Park, only a short drive away. The Bathurst Estate, a wonderful stately home where one can walk in the grounds and surrounding area. The Cotswold Water Park consisting of 180 lakes with a multitude of outdoor activities on offer.
