A little rustic heater was loud and not in the greatest of shape but the room was clean quiet and friendly staff! Nice location !

The bed sheets were full of hair, bathroom had mold on the ceiling, bathroom door was filthy, spatters oh who know what on the wall, light switch was filthy and the door barely latched and was difficult to lock. Even worse was the smell and the fact that the welcome counter was noisy all night with an adjoining door locked with a sliding bathroom latch. Bag of melding chick peas in the microwave and garbage under the bed. Only positive was that the beds after we put on our own sheets were comfortable.

The property is owned and operated by a young couple who are slowly improving and trying to make a go of the premises. Courtesy, consideration, and cleanliness were top-notch. It will become a beautiful place in time.

Loved staying here. It was the perfect area close to new liskeard, they allowed my friend and I to fish off the dock and it was so nice inside the room. Up to date decor and the staff was so friendly when we checked in and it was also an easy checkout. Perfect little place for our stay and we enjoyed it very much

A nice little spot nestled between New Liskeard and Haileybury. The attendant was very friendly and kind. Our room was cozy and perfect for a night stay before heading further down South.

Overall, the room was adequate. I did find a paper in a burner of the stove (fortunately, before I used it) and someone's leftover muffin wrapper in the microwave. Glasses were not clean, but I could not find any dishwashing detergent to clean them. WIFI was advertised, but I failed to find it on my computer search. Bed and bathroom were clean and well ordered. The room was warm and draft free. If I were to have stayed longer, I did find all food prep dishware that I would have needed.

This was our first stay at Edgewater. The manger was pleasant to deal with and was quick to help us with the things we requested. The building itself is a little run down and could use some updating and renovating but overall the room was clean and the location was convenient to both Hailebury and New Liskeard as we have family in both towns. Was nice being close to the water as well. We would stay again.

Comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchenette. Bathroom fine.I liked that it is on the shores of Lake Temiskaming in a nice, natural setting. New ownership will need to bring the accommodations up to date and take good care of the beautiful grounds. New cleaning staff being hired. Any requests I had were quickly and courteously handled by management. I would stay there again.

It’s a motel next to a lake with the focus on the road weary traveller. One plug for a faux electric fireplace, TV and fan. It was chilly last night but I couldn’t figure out how to fire up the fireplace? I felt safe though and though the place is dated 1960 something it was clean and I slept well.

I cant say enough about this property. This is our second visit to the Edgewater and is our go to when stopping over in Liskeard area. The previous trip was just to meet family from the south and soend a few days together. This trip was to visit Notre-Dame-du-Nord to finalize our new home plans. The rooms are more then adequate with 1 or 2 double beds (comfy). There is a snall kitchenette with counter top burners, a sink and a fridge. Basic flatware, serving dishes etc were available. The water was hot on the bathroom and the heat was more than adequate. If youre looking for the Hilton, carry on. If youre looking for a safe, quiet and comfortable place to lay your head this is absolutely for you. I love these 1950s style Motor On Inns where you park at your door.

Quite comfortable in the tidy room. The only comment I have is: When I went to office to complain the slow flow of hot water, they said that they were doing the laundry, causing the slow flow of hot water. Wanted us to wait for 30 to 45 minutes. However, even after an hour, the situation did not change much: It had hot water coming out, but stopped not for long!

The beds are not clean. We founded dirty sheets and pillows. The staff was not helpful. We arrived to the hotel at 6:30 pm no body was in the reception desk. We ring the bell for minutes also called the number that they puts in the front door. Not answer we left messages not response at all. I don't recommend this hotel to no body. Is a shame because was a nice area beautiful view to the lake. Very accessible. But no thank you.
