Resort was beautiful and staff very friendly. Food was fair and expensive for what was served. Disappointing that we could not ship wine to our state or find an available opening at the Spa

One of the best places to stay and enjoy Temecula

I really have no complaints, as I thought everything was great. The bathroom is older, and the blower on the HVAC unit is always on if the unit is on, regardless of the temp. These barely detract from the beauty of the hotel.

From the moment we walked down the stairs of this beautiful property built on the hillside, we were greeted by a warm and gracious staff. We were quickly checked in and upgraded to the mission suite accessible through a private path and door. The suite was filled with "old-world" charm yet had all the modern amenities we could ask for. The bathroom was large and spacious with the luxury cowshed brand products. The complimentary breakfast was small but adequate with excellent quiche and coffee. The only suggestion I could provide for this resort would be to add an extra staff member. The morning and evening front desk guys do an excellent job with a smile on their faces, but they really do everything. From answering phones and checking guests in to making breakfast and room service to cleaning up after others. They are extremely busy and an extra staff member would certainly help.

We are blessed to be able to travel frequently and always read reviews on the resorts. Our experience was terrific !!!! The moment we checked in we were greeted by two young ladies named Stephanie who were helpful and delightful. The experience continued with all great staff. Our room was fantastic (ocean front) and while not large, very nicely appointed. We opened our doors and there it was, "the ocean", Wow !! I read a review that said the ocean noise was too loud, (are you kidding me, don't stay on the beach). The pool area (while not large) was very nice with plenty of lounge chairs and a bar. If you like you can walk directly down twenty stairs to the sand where they also have chairs and umbrellas, (awesome beach). The restaurant on the property, "Splashes", (which we have eaten in many times) is first class, again right on the ocean. We had a waiter named Ryan who couldn't have been nicer and our food was very good. This is a great hotel, right on the sand in a perfect location and we highly recommend it.

We chose this location on a whim and are incredibly happy with how it turned out. The hotel was everything we wanted for a week long stay, and the location is centrally located to all the areas we planned to visit in southern California. Perfect location for day trips out to Palm Springs, Joshua Tree, Anza Borrego, the coast, and San Diego. Great service and quiet, safe area.

Rooftop garden patio is a wonderful place to relax. It has plenty of space and beautiful views. Our room needed updating badly, but it as large and clean. It lacked a bathroom door which was an adjustment. Staff is friendly and the beach is very close. We loved the Sea Side Market to pick up lunch and dinner foods.

We stayed overnight for our 25th wedding anniversary. We would definitely stay there again and enjoyed it very much.

This Hotel was an excellent choice for our stay in the Temecula Wine Country. The Hotel was located near all of the popular wineries and not too far from old town Temecula and the Pechenga Casino(considered a top rated casino, but not casino people so did not really enjoy it). The Cellar pub in the hotel was excellent with a very good wait and bartending staff, we had a lot of fun listening to the live entertainment, Saturday was much livelier than Friday.We attended the Summer Champagne Jazz concert at the near by Thornton Winery. Saw Kenny G who is a fantastic performer, but was pretty uncomfortable sitting in the general seating. They offer dining and tables at a much higher cost and sells out fast. We had 3 out of 4 positive experiences with Uber for our nights out.
