![Telica is an active volcano. We got to the edge of its crater and were mesmerised by the sound of lava. The best part was to watch the sunset and afterwards see the lava in the dark. It is possible to camp there, but we headed back to León. "Great location. Nice staff. Hammocks to relax in and communal kitchen. Room was basic but to be expected for the bargain price and had everything you need. No air con but did have a very effective fan. Good wifi. Shower ok. Great value for money. Would stay again. "

![Telica is an active volcano. We got to the edge of its crater and were mesmerised by the sound of lava. The best part was to watch the sunset and afterwards see the lava in the dark. It is possible to camp there, but we headed back to León. "The hotel was spotlessly clean and staff helpful and courteous The meals were freshly made and they have a refreshing welcome drink upon arrival. I particularly liked the options at breakfast as they do healthy bowls of fresh fruit and granola with nuts and seeds. They also arranged a mangroves boat trip with Carlo and Eroll I highly recommend this as Eroll is very good at spotting wildlife "
