Set in a peaceful location, it is just minutes from the lake for boating, fishing, or swimming, with Roundhill Ski Area only a 15 minute drive away.



The Space:

This beautifully positioned home features panoramic mountain and high country views, with a standout outlook from the kitchen where guests can enjoy the scenery while cooking or gathering together. The property includes 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, designed to comfortably host groups while maintaining a relaxed, private atmosphere.



A spa is located just a few steps from the property, making it the perfect spot for stargazing under Tekapo’s internationally renowned dark skies. The surrounding landscape offers uninterrupted views of mountains and open countryside, creating an ideal setting for relaxation and connection with nature.



There is also plenty of parking space available on-site for guests.



This is a hosted accommodation, with our team member staying in a separate dwelling onsite. Our priority is to ensure you have complete privacy, while still being readily available should you need any assistance.



Please note that this property, like others in the area, may be impacted by heavy snowfall during the winter months. Access to and from the property can occasionally be restricted for up to 48 hours. We strongly recommend arranging travel insurance, and helicopter option is available.



Kindly note that all indoor open fires must be lit by our onsite team member only.



Guest Access:

During your stay, you will have full access to the main house. Other buildings on the property, including sheds and the separate dwelling, are not accessible to guests.

🏞️ Located along Lilybank Road in the stunning Mackenzie Basin, Te Toka is surrounded by dramatic alpine landscapes, wide open plains, and some of New Zealand’s most iconic scenery. Just a short drive from Lake Tekapo village, guests can enjoy local cafés, restaurants, Tekapo Springs, and the Church of the Good Shepherd. The area is world-famous for its night skies, offering some of the best stargazing conditions on the planet.



Getting Around:

🚗 A vehicle is recommended for exploring the region, with Lake Tekapo village approximately a short scenic drive away. From the property, guests can easily access Lake Tekapo, Lake Pukaki, and Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park. The area is best enjoyed by car due to its wide open geography and scenic routes.
