"The view was great and we enjoyed dining/sitting on the small balcany as we watched the charter boats and ferries come and go. Clean, well equipped, and walking distance to shops. We would stay here in this unit again "

"Its was a perfect getaway at a perfect place. Just make sure to read the whole description cuz there's things ull need to bring but other than that if u can read and know how to prepare its a perfect slice of heaven. Community bathrooms and showers but very clean also. All around for me I will be back. Hopefully many many more times."

"Kitchen was adequate on our previous stay we had a cutting board but not this stay also had to buy coffee filters for the coffee maker only one roll of toilet paper we obviously needed more for 5 day stay; also the trash reptical is small and no recycling container but we do keep coming back love the units with kitchen "

"Nice clean room with a full size fridge and a stove and oven. Only issue I had was the outside lights shining in my room while I was trying to sleep other than that I had a good experience "

"We chose the Shelter for our 21st anniversary vacation. The location is amazing! To be so close to the end of the island, in a true OBX beach cottage, right by my the marinas and with a remarkable view of the ferries coming and going is just what we needed!!! The fairy garden was a beautiful surprise that I throughly enjoyed exploring. And the walk to the beach…..it’s what you see in paintings!!! The house was comfy and the fenced in yard was nice for the 4 legged child. It’s charm is a rare find!"

"Perfect location to everything you could need. The Ferry ride was wonder - we even got to see dolphins on our trip over to Ocracoke! The condo was great - just as described. It was still a little chilly so we didn't get to enjoy the pool although the pool area looked very well kept and relaxing. We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to get back there. "
