Designed for easy indoor-outdoor living, the light-filled lounge opens onto a spacious deck overlooking the Myall River, while the fully equipped kitchen provides ample bench space for preparing family meals. The property also features a long driveway with room for a boat, with a nearby ramp and excellent fishing spots close by. The cottage is beautiful, very clean and very roomy, with all the amenities we needed for our stay. Perfect location right across from the river. The only negatives are no a/c, so as the weather was hot we found we needed to leave the doors and windows open to cool the house and get airflow. Property within walking distance of village shops and eateries of which there are several to choose from. We enjoyed the serenity staying end of Jan however the cleanliness of the inside was a concern upon arrival. There is no a/c but each bedroom has a fan. The fan in the room we chose had dust caked on it & the flyscreens so given the fan was the only form of cooling I had to clean the fan and hosed down the flyscreens. There were other areas of concern which were raised with Property Mgmt who was responsive. The two front bedrooms do not have fly screens so this could be a concern in the heat of summer esp with lights on at night.
