Amongst the natural beauty of the forest and as though a welcoming committee of south African animal sculptures was certainly a conversation among my whanau. The accommodation certainly exceeded my expectations. Warm, clean, spacious and all the utilities necessary to enjoy a wonder stay. Enjoyed meeting other holiday makers too. Beautiful gardens with animal sculptures. We just passed through on a rainy day but loved chilling there. Owners are super nice. Absolutely lovely hosts. Amanda and Les are so friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Beautiful gardens to explore. Lovely confortable bed. I would happily stay again. I really enjoyed the hiking around Taranaki and do intend to return. Warm welcome from friendly and relaxed hosts. Our studio was the Elephant room - spacious but quite dark. The surrounding gardens fascinating with all the life size African animal sculptures with interesting info boards on each one.
