Amazing place to stay . Wonderful check in , great recommendations for dinner, beautiful view, fluffy towels , comfortable bed , soft robes. Wish we could have stayed longer !!
Special appreciation for Kerri who was incredibly kind to allow us to check in early. I had been battling food poisoning and needed to get to a bed earlier than normal check in. Not only did she get us in early, she also had recommendations on what to take to feel better and personally checked on my health the next day. That’s the kind of incredible customer service and human kindness that will make our stay at Radfords on the Lake unforgettable. Thank you Kerri!!
This is the best one night stop if visiting Te Anau for a short stay! All the bells and whistles for a luxury stay. On the lakefront, walkable to the village and has a knowledgeable hostess with so many tips for the best places to eat and play! Thank you ☺️
Clean, comfortable, courteous. Very spacious. Gorgeous view. Easy walk to town and to boat for “glowworms”- wish we had more time there! Would definitely stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay here- the view of the lake is beautiful and it’s conveniently located. The staff is very friendly and helps provide recommendations for restaurants/things to do. I highly recommend this place.
Room was nice albeit we heard folks coming going when positioned in front unit given side stairs to get to 2nd floor unit. Staff (Kerry) was very helpful (restaurants and tour suggestions) but I missed a few details that are a bit unique:
- safe is keyed to your room key which has a dedicated code written on it. I missed instructions on safe given this was not what I have been used to
- coffee pods are not marked however inside a kitchen cabinet door there is a display indicating which pod is which type of coffee.
- jetted tub has candles (nice touch) but took us awhile to find matches. Also there is separate power switch for tub.
- if you do not want your room changed you have to put out do not disturb tag (found in a closed drawer) which requires hanging tag on open window latch since sliding doors do not have a knob to hang tags.
Accommodations were lovely, and location is easy walk into town. Plus most tour operators recognize the hotel as a pick up stop.
