The staff were friendly, the room was beautiful, and my view was amazing! The hotel was straight up a hill, so be prepared to get your exercise if you plan to walk. It was convenient, however, as there were shops and restaurants just a 5-10 minute walk away. The hotel is also conveniently just under the Fortress and Mother of Georgia. The rooms aren’t huge but they are well appointed. The bathrooms are very nice too. Considering Tbilisi is built on hills and the hotel on a hillside, a definite plus of the hotel is that every ( I think) room has a balcony. The rooms are very clean, staff very helpful and the breakfasts although not extensive are beautifully presented and there’s more than enough to set you up for the day. The area around is quite bohemian in a quiet kind of way but it is pretty central. Be prepared for a short walk up the hill, seems steep but it’s not long.
