Host added thoughtful touches like a welcome basket with snacks that was immediately devoured. We had planned on more outdoor adventures but rainy weather meant we needed to switch gears and we were easily able to spend day in beautiful Oban with lunch , shopping and a whiskey flight at the distillery. Everywhere was very clean and comfortable. Nice large kitchen with plenty of storage and a large fridge/freezer. The hot tub was brilliant, and very popular! It was regularly (but unobtrusively) checked for water quality too, which was reassuring. Good location, nice pub nearby, village shop 5 minutes away, golf course and good walk down to the water over the road. Also only a short drive to Oban. We had a couple of minor issues during our stay (firepit ran out of gas and we accidentally set the fire alarm off and couldn't re-set it) - both of these were dealt with exceptionally quickly by the host, they couldn't have been more helpful. We loved our 5 days here, and I would definitely recommend the property. ##### Paula K.
