We arrived at the house and Massimo showed us the apartment that we were to stay in. At first it looked big enough but after a day we realised that it only had a bedroom and ensuite bathroom with a kitchen leading out onto a yard that had table and chairs, washing machine and a shower area. We realised we had no windows, only the light coming in from the glass windows on the doors. Apart from that the fixtures and fittings were ok. What we didn't know and did not find out until we arrived was that the area of Mancaversa only comes to life from June 1st to Sept31st. Apart from those 4 months the place is mothballed with only a handful of residents, with NO internet . The rocky beach area is totally covered in broken glass and millions of ants. We had to travel in our car every day to surrounding towns and cities to be able to walk our dog. Massimo is a very good guy but the place was just not suitable for the 4 weeks we booked their. ##### harry w. Massimo ist sehr zuvorkommend und es war alles bestens. Zu unserer Zeit war Mancaversa fast ausgestorben aber genau das wollten wir um richtig zu relaxen. Der Strand ist zwar alles felsig, aber wir fanden eine kleine Bucht mit Sandstrand wo die wenigen Einheimischen auch waren und wir haben diese Zeit mit Ihnen sehr genossen. Auch die Strände von Gallipoli sind nicht weit entfernt ( ca. 8 Km ). Wir werden sicher wieder kommen Massimo. Danke für alles wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und gut erholt. Il proprietario si è subito dimostrato gentile e disponibile . L'appartamento grande e funzionale dispone di 2 ampie camere,bagno,cucina e ampio spazio esterno coperto da tettoia. Da segnalare condizionatore e impianto allarme. Si trova nella parte più centrale di Mancaversa ed è comodo ai principali negozi:pizzeria ristorante panificio gelateria supermetcato rosticceria ecc . Ho soggiornato per una settimana con il mio ragazzo nell'appartamento Emblema del signor Massimo a Marina di Mancaversa . Be che dire.. ci si sente come a casa! Il signor Massimo è una bella persona , gentilissimo, è stato disponibile per tutto fin da subito, ci ha accolto all'arrivo ed ha soddisfatto tutte le nostre esigenze. Abbiamo avuto un problema con il boiler e l'ha sostituito immediatamente. L'appartamento è in una posizione davvero tranquilla, si sta bene, ma con un auto si possono raggiungere le più belle spiagge del Salento. Il posto x la macchina c'è sempre davanti a casa, in una via tranquilla. L'appartamento è dotato di ogni comfort, tutto nuovo e soprattutto , cosa da non sottovalutare, era pulitissimo!! Ci è piaciuta tantissimo la terrazza esterna con tavolo e tv dove si può mangiare! Ci siamo trovati davvero bene per tutto e abbiamo passato una bellissima vacanza! La casa che ci ha ospitato era veramente gradevole.. pulito, in ottimo stato, due camere da letto matrimoniali(eravamo 4 adulti), un bagno, e una cucina completa di tutto. Ma la cosa che più ci è rimasta nel cuore della casa era la grande terrazza dove si può mangiare all'aperto e respirare l'aria di mare, con una sotto-tetto in travi in legno e perlinato in ottimo stato, e molto piacevoli alla vista.. oltre agli spazi comuni dove è possibile fare una doccia all'aperto appena tornati dal mare, e usufruire della lavatrice. Il mare si raggiunge a piedi ed è veramente bello. Se poi si vuole sognare, dall'appartamento in 5 minuti si arriva a Punta della Suina(consigliata da Massimo, il proprietario...) e oltre all'acqua e alla spiaggia mozzafiato, immergendosi con maschera e boccaglio, ti ritrovi in mezzo a tantissimi pesci di diverse specie.. da vedere assolutamente! Che dire, noi torneremo appena possibile a Mancaversa, e sicuramente andremo nello stesso appartamento! ##### Alessio S. E' il secondo anno che siamo ospiti di Massimo e anche quest'anno la scelta si è confermata molto felice. Prima volta in questo appartamento che in pieno centro di Mancaversa è a poche centinaia di metri dal mare. Ottimo il gazebo esterno e le docce anche esterne comodissime per un risciacquo veloce quando si rientra dal mare. L'appartamento ristrutturato da pochissimo presenta arredi nuovi, curati e funzionali. Massimo, il proprietario, sempre disponibile a tutte le ore non manca mai di farvi sentire a proprio agio consigliando anche locali e ristoranti per gustare appieno la vacanza in Salento. Marina di Mancaversa e pochi chilometri da Gallipoli risulta posto ideale per partire ogni giorno alla ricerca di spiagge; a cinque minuti di auto due fra le più belle Punta Suina e Baia Verde. Il paese nel periodo di fine giugno, quando siamo stati noi, non era a pieno regime per quanto riguarda i servizi ma è risultato comunque comodo con tutto alla portata (vedi supermarket e ristorazione). Ho consigliato la vacanza a diversi conoscenti, che sono andati e sono rimasti contentissimi in tutto.
