Welcome to Ocean Pointe Suites!

Come unwind in our tropically inspired 2 bedroom 2 bath condo – an escape to paradise awaits! This vacation condo offers a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer and living area. We are set on a 60 acre sanctuary– no city lights – no traffic sound - simply paradise! Close to all attractions in Key Largo and Islamorada. Snorkeling, diving, fishing, birding, dining are available within minutes. Enjoy our private sandy beach, pool and marina. Relax…Recharge..Resort with us!

Our beautiful two bedroom/ two bath condo boast two separate bedrooms. The master bedroom offers a king size bed and the guest bedroom will have either two twins or one queen (we would be happy to note either bedding type in your reservation but please note that condo assignments are done the day of arrival.) The kitchen is equipped with a full size fridge, full size range, microwave, dishwasher, basic pot and pan, silverware, dishes, blender, and toaster. For your comfort towels and sheets are provided, including pool towels. There condo also have a stackable washer/dryer in the unit. The living room area has a pull out queen size sleeper sofa.

Sunbathe on our private beach or on the sundeck of our junior Olympic size swimming pool with Jacuzzi.

Please note condos are individually owned and actual décor may vary from photos. This listing is only the accommodation, it DOES NOT include space on the marina and/or trailer parking for a boat. If you are interested in bringing a boat, you must contact the Property Management of Ocean Pointe Suites/Dock Master in order to reserve a space after making a reservation for the condo.

Check in time is at 5PM and checkout is by 11AM. Our front desk is open 24 hours a day to accommodate late arrivals or early checkouts. Please feel free to contact our front desk anytime during your stay should you have questions, need suggestions, or need additional housekeeping or maintenance items.

A refundable credit card deposit of $50 per day on a major credit card is required at check in. No RV’s, trailers, jet boats, or jet ski’s are permitted on property. Additional fees, insurance requirements, and advance reservations are required if bringing a boat. Minimum check in age for the cardholder must be 21 or older. Sorry, no pets allowed.

Great location and professional management

We appreciated the professional and responsive management. They made the check-in process very smooth and they helped us with missing items in the kitchen. This condo had a pending sale when we stayed there, so maybe the new owners will clean it up more. Mainly it had worn and stained furniture, broken sliding mechanism on sliding door, and other odd things in the kitchen (salt and pepper shakers with nothing in them, disposal with something already in it when we arrived, and the dishwasher is not even attached to the island...so it moves). Overall though, we worked around the glitches and enjoyed the beautiful view, the pool and bar, the little beach, and the nice pier. It's also a nice neighborhood to walk around and we walked all the way to the state park nearby. We would stay in this complex again for sure, but we would request a different condo. Thanks for the friendly, professional management!

Dated Room Needing Updates

Third time at this resort, this was the worst room of the three trips. Old and dirty, needs new appliances and cleaning. Washer dryer old and squealed when running. Beds and pull out couch were horrible to sleep on. Overall for the high price we paid, we were unhappy with the room quality but love the resort and location. Pool and beach were great as usual.

Bait and switch

Our first unit was NOTHING like the pictures in the listing. It smelled bad, was dirty, holes in the walls, areas of the wall that weren't painted, onenof the curton rods was hanging down, the tub was all yellowed and had multiple spots of mildew, the tile and wall panels were old and outdated, the appliances we old and mismatch (white, black, cream) there was a lot of carpeting (which probably accounted for the bad smell)and it was all stained and was full of wrinkles, the electrical panel was taped closed..... the list goes on. This unit should NOT be in a rental rotation. We have stayed at Ocean Point a dozen times and never had an experience like this. The unit was managed by the main leasing company and not by the owner, this is the first and last time we will rent for anyone besides the owners direct. The front desk didn't have the unit ready until after 5pm. They did have another unit available and we were able to change rooms, thank goodness, because we would not have stayed in the first unit. The front desk was a mixed bag. Friendly at first and so so when we had an issue.

Great Pool!

The pool was terrific. Large and ample seating. Very clean. There was a pool bar open around 12-8pm. The condo itself was average- nothing spectacular. The lack of housekeeping service was a drawback. Our dishwasher had a leak and twice we had water on the floor. We kept a towel on the floor to keep the water from going everywhere. Maintenance came but couldn’t find the problem. Needless to say we did not run the dishwasher and did all dishes by hand. It was our first time to the area. The weather was absolutely beautiful.

Lack of information

The front desk personnel need to be much more detailed when checking in. We had to call people out for a hot water heater being turned down so low it didn't provide any warm or hot water. The amenities available on the property per the communication prior to booking was inaccurate. No kayaks, paddle boards or bicycles available on the property. Lack of enough bedding available as well as simple amenities such as Dishwasher soap, laundry soap, Salt & Pepper. We felt like there needs to be far more details offered at booking and check in. Pool was great.

The place was lovely and clean. The site and facility were excellent, and the pool was positively dreamy! My only negative comment is that the mattress in the master bedroom Sank at least six inches lower in the middle than at the sides. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Oasis in Paradise

Perfect location and the security was reassuring. Our only complaints were the tile floors were filthy - our feet turned black every time we walked on them (though this is not uncommon for tile) and the living room TV had not been set up so we were only able to watch DVDs. Not a big deal for us, as we brought plenty of DVDs and most days we were exhausted by the time we got back to the condo so we ate and fell asleep. Otherwise, the condo was squeaky clean, there were plenty of linens and dinnerware, and everything worked well. We loved the complex, the pool, and the beach. We definitely plan on staying here on our next trip to the Keys!
