Summary:

Two king suites, two cosy private balconies, zero arguments over who gets the good room! Island Time sleeps 6 with a queen sofa bed, a spa shower with body sprays and a rain head, and a kitchen built for coffee snobs (espresso, cold brew, French press, the works). Bring binoculars: the ospreys put on a show. Out the door: a gated resort with a pool, hot tub, tennis, pickleball, beach and marina!

The Space:
THE LAYOUT
Building 1, 2nd floor, with an lift and stairs (heads up: building and lift restoration work runs Sept 9 – Dec 15, 2026). Sleeps 6.
• Primary suite: king bed, private bath with a spa shower (body sprays, giant rain head and wand), lighted vanity mirrors, a desk and HDTV, plus its own cosy balcony for sunrise coffee
• Guest suite: king bed, private bath and HDTV
• Living room: queen sofa bed

INSIDE
The ultra-modern kitchen has bar seating and a coffee lover's dream setup: a speciality machine for a full pot, cappuccino, latte or espresso, plus cold brew, French press and moka pots. Grilling essentials and a collapsible cooler are ready for the resort grills. In-unit washing machine/dryer, fast Wi-Fi, books and games.

THE VIEW
Nature views over the mangroves from two private balconies. Bird watchers, the ospreys are your neighbors!

WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT
Building 1 has its own grilling and game area right downstairs: table tennis, cornhole and giant Jenga. Bring your A game!

Guest Access:
CHECKING IN
Self check-in with your own door code, sent before you arrive. The front gate is staffed 24/7; just give the guard the name on the reservation and you're in! Parking for 2 vehicles is included. Boats and caravans only with a confirmed dockmaster reservation.

The Area:
POOL BAR: The resort's pool bar and waterfront cafe are temporarily closed as of October 2026. Plenty of great restaurants and waterfront bars in Key Largo and Islamorada are just a short drive away, and we're happy to share our favourites!

Ocean Pointe is a gated, 60+ acre waterfront resort in Tavernier at mile marker 92.5, smack in the middle of Key Largo and Islamorada. Best of both worlds!

Just up the road: John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, the country's first undersea park, with world-class snorkelling and diving. Just down the road: Islamorada, the Sportfishing Capital of the World, plus sandbars, waterfront restaurants and plenty of happy hours. Nearby favourites include Theatre of the Sea, the History of Diving Museum, Robbie's (go feed the tarpon!), the Laura Quinn Wild Bird Sanctuary and the Turtle Hospital. Harry Harris Park, with a waterfront walk and playground, is right around the corner. Supermarkets and pharmacies are minutes away.

Good to know: the Keys are coral islands, so our beaches are cosy, not Cancún. The real magic is on the water! The closest larger public beach is Anne's Beach in Islamorada.

And don't leave without a slice of key lime pie. That's basically a house rule!

Getting Around:
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
GPS address: 500 Burton Drive, Tavernier, FL 33070. From Miami, take the Florida Turnpike south to its end in Florida City, then follow US-1 south through Key Largo. At mile marker 92.5, turn left onto Burton Drive, just before the Circle K. Ocean Pointe is about half a mile down on the right. Speed limits in the Keys are strictly enforced, so slow down and enjoy the view!

PARKING
Each reservation includes parking for 2 vehicles. No commercial vehicles, RVs or jet skis.

WITHOUT A CAR
We recommend a car so you can explore. Uber and Lyft operate in the area, and Keys Shuttle offers door-to-door service from the Miami and Fort Lauderdale airports.

POOL BAR: The resort's pool bar and waterfront cafe are temporarily closed as of October 2026. The pool, hot tub, beach, tennis and pickleball courts are all open!

All linens and towels are professionally laundered off-site by a commercial laundry service. Fresh and fluffy, every stay! Every condo also comes with 4 beach towels, so leave yours at home.

WILDLIFE: Ocean Pointe borders a protected mangrove and nature conservation area, home to ospreys, wading birds and a colony of feral cats. Please enjoy them from a distance. Feeding the wildlife or the cats is prohibited and can be fined, and the conservation area is closed to entry.

BRINGING A BOAT? Slips are limited and must be reserved through the Ocean Pointe dockmaster BEFORE you book. Please don't count on one without a confirmed reservation. Vessels must be 28 ft or less, with insurance and registration on file. Message us for the dockmaster's contact info. Jet skis and RVs are not allowed.
