(161 reviews) All was good. Things were a little dated but everything was clean an working. Really liked the setting with the little porches around the pool and all the gardens. We arrived late, cooked dinner in the kitchenette and swam in the pool with the night lighting. Very nice atmosphere. Only thing we didn't like was the noise on the road from behind - was on the weekend and could here several loud motor bikes going by throughout the night. (1,002 reviews) We were upgraded to a superior hot tub room in building 0 which was one of the recently renovated rooms. Big, bright, comfortable with a lovely view of the black beach. Lovely to fall asleep listening to the crashing waves. The property has great potential with its location. However, it is one of the older resorts on Tahiti and is showing its age. The facilities are in need of a refresh for sure. That being said, it was a nice place to spend a couple of days before heading to Moorea. If you are looking for a high end 5 star experience, stay at the Hilton or Intercontinental. If you are looking for a decent place to comfortably spend a couple of days and experience a beautiful black sand beach, you’ll be happy here. (149 reviews) The views were awesome, we had bungalow 1 right by the water. The cleaning staff was great ! I would stay here again. It had a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle, so we were able to have breakfast and lunch at our room. Book the restaurants nearby ahead of time, it is not always possible to get reservations or get into some places.
