"It’s a really beautiful unit. Comfy bed. Lovely Bathroom but mat dirty and mirror needed cleaning. Kitchen had ants in the bottom drawer which I removed and parts of the floor had dirt on it. Stayed here for a night on our Australia road trip, we were upgraded to a beautiful room with balcony overlooking the lake. The room was huge, with a shower and a jet bath which was amazing. The view was lovely, yes the room could do with some updating and tlc but for the price I can’t complain. The check in instructions on hotels.com are incorrect, there is a reception area and you don’t check in at the pub/restaurant but other than that great stay

We only needed a place to sleep on a drive from Brisbane to Sydney and chose this place mostly on price. It's on the edge of town in 10 acre gardens. It's bright and breezy on first sight, and the people running it are charming and helpful. Our room was a good size, with what looked like a newly refitted bathroom.
