Charming hotel with breakfast and a great staff

To be fair, I am reviewing the Akropolis Hotel because that’s where I stayed. When I got to San Andrea Degli Armeni, there was no one there, but a sign there had a phone number to call. The person said to come to the Akropolis Hotel which was just a short walk. Apparently they are sister hotels and my reservation was switched but because I booked on hotels.com they staff couldn’t reach me. No big deal, as it was close by. Once I arrived, everything was great. There were a couple minor issues with the room, but they were resolved right away. The staff went out of their way to help. Two of the front desk personnel spoke English which was a big help. The building has a lot of history as does the rest of Taranto. There is a nice rooftop with seating that overlooks the city. A perfect place to have a drink and relax. Thanks to all the staff that made my stay a comfortable one.

Ich habe nicht im San Andrea degli Armeni übernachtet, sondern im dem gleichen Eigentümer gehörenen Acropolis wenige Meter weiter. Stilvoll eingerichtete Zimmer, nettes Personal.

Very hard to find this hotel, we went in circles for at least an hour, there was no parking, the safe didn't work and we left after 10 minutes. We were offered a room at their sister hotel Hotel Andropolous and this was ok.

En fait pour des raisons d'organisation on nous a demandé si OK pour aller dormir dans un autre site appartenant aux memes personnes. l'Hotel AKROPOLIS. Personnel trés agréable et au petits soins. Chambre d'un certain age mais confortable. Probleme de bruit dans les canalisations d'eau trés genants pour dormir. ATTENTION : très peu de places pour garer sa voiture dans la rue. Parking fermé proposé mais payant.

Dans le quartier historique.

Nous étions dans l'hôtel Arkopolis du même groupe, sur demande de l'hôtel San Andrea qui était tout près. Très bel hôtel à décoration baroque. Situé dans la vielle ville, elle même très dégradée mais nous n'avons ressentie aucune agressivité. Heureusement qu'il y avait un parking !
