This place was awesome! Clean and modern with all the amenities you need (including steam showers)! The best part is the location - walk 60 seconds to lift 4 and the Bavarian restaurant.
The property was as listed and more with a great location and excellent furnishings, linens, supplies and space. Perfect for our six skiing adults. Highly recommended.
Great property, great location. Made a great long weekend retreat for our family. Location to the lift and slopes is easy and simple. True ski on and out! Fabulous!
Location, location, location. But not only that. The condo is incredible. Plenty of room. It was well appointed. The steam shower was a welcome relief after a long ski day. Walking to the Bavarian for a nice meal was a nice surprise. Property owner was very responsive. Would definitely stay again.
This property is absolutely beautiful and welcoming. The layout of the bedrooms ensure privacy for all travelers. The access to the ski lift was perfect! Overall, this property was a perfect 5/5. In addition, the homeowner was always available and supportive. The homeowner was fantastic in supporting me in getting access to an item that I left on the property at our departure. HIGHLY recommend this property!
5 out of 5 Location - At Lift#4 and The BavarianCleanliness - Immaculate!Amenities - Mud room, washer/dryer, each bedroom has its own bathroom, plenty of toiletries, full kitchen…Spacious - Large bedrooms and open kitchen/living room. Host - Excellent. Responded to all inquiries promptly.
Stayed with some friends for the Taos Winter Wine Festival. This home is even better in person than the photos. Beautifully appointed, comfortable beds, luxury linens, well equipped kitchen. The location cannot be beat. Walk to chair 4. The property manager, Julie, was immediately responsive to any questions during our stay. Tip: it does state that you need 4WD in winter. I'd also suggest having chains. When the snow is heavy chains are more than handy, they're almost necessary to get up the hill, even with 4WD.
The property occupies one half of a ski lodge (the other half was vacant during our stay) a 60-second walk to the ski lift and Bavarian Lodge restaurant/bar. The location was excellent and we barely touched our big rental vehicle during our trip. The property was as described and we found it clean and move-in ready. The mud room was a great place to stash all our ski gear. The kitchen is well-appointed with plenty of utensils, glassware, spices, etc. The beds were all large and comfortable, and the baths were similarly large and well-equipped.
One caveat: the lodging is at about 10,500 feet of elevation, which made for some breathing/sleeping issues for several of our crew. Not a reason not to go, but just be aware the air is quite thin up that high.
Enjoy!
We went to ski, and it was so easy to get to the lift. The house was as described, and Julie was always available to answer questions. We need a bigger place next year, or I would book again right now. The pots and pans were the best I have ever seen in a rental. I highly recommend this property.
