Great location but not clean for expensive cleaning fee
While the location and spacious bedrooms were positive aspects, our experience with this home was marred by several downsides. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a strong mold and mildew odor that clung to our clothes throughout the weekend. Despite the high cleaning fee, the house was dirty, with filthy bathrooms, spider webs, and grime. The fireplace was non-functional, and the furniture in the living room could barely accommodate five people, despite the claim that the house accommodates seven. The king bed was essentially two twin beds pushed together, and the large bedroom listed as a queen and double bed actually had a twin. When we raised our concerns, the owner initially offered a refund but later retracted it, trusting the cleaning company's assessment over ours. As respectful renters, we expected better for the expensive cleaning fee. We won't be returning.

Nice comfy house
Great communication from owner, had a minor issue and was quickly resolved. Thanks again. Nothing felt lacking, kitchen, bathroom and all rooms were well stocked. Area itself isnt too bad. Plenty of shops and food to choose from, no late night choices. Only stayed for 2 nights but would definitely consider it for a week long stay.

Close to the action.
It's not pretty and there isn't anything fancy about it. But it's an inexpensive place to rest your head after skiing all day and night. The house is close to everything you need and is surprisingly quiet for it's location. I recommend it to the budget conscious on the go types that just need a place to crash. Next time we do the Camelback thing we'll look you up again. Thank you.

Pocono Golf trip
House was perfect for a couple guys on a Pocono golf trip. Great communication with owner. Night was cool enough to sit outside. Bed could have been more comfortable.

Cozy place. Friendly town.lots of outdoor activities.
Fast easy everything the owner and travel advisor said is true. The beds need a serious makeover. Overall my family enjoyed the getaway.

The pictures were accurate and the property was suitable…basic…nothing fancy. It definitely could have been a little cleaner and there was paper towel on the mini blinds in the living room to cover where the blinds were broken…there were also broken mini blinds in the kitchen. There were clean towels and linens in the beds. There were plenty of dishes in the kitchen.

Cozy house near all attractions
We weren't expecting much when we booked this trip but this house had everything we needed and more! Pictures and description are accurate - no surprises. House is conveniently located near Camelback ski resort with lots of food options and grocery stores around. Owner is very responsive and helpful. The house is packed with many amenities (kitchen cookware, washer, dryer, towels, etc.) and every room has a smart TV.

This was my second time staying at this property with my friends. We had a great time. We stayed longer than our first trip because we enjoyed the place. Quiet neighborhood, not far from supermarket and other places. Had a great time.

Great Location
The property had minimal amenities, e.g., it did not have a couch, but provided a convenient location to sleep 8 people for just one night. Very close to the supermarket, camelback and several food options. The host was responsive and professional. Would recommend to anyone just looking for a convenient place to stay.

Nice place but fireplace was not working
Pretty decent place only bad thing to say is that there was a fireplace pictured on the listing and when we tried to use it it was not working and when questioned owners they said don't use it. Would not have booked the listing if I had known this.

Snowboarding trip for the weekend
Check in process was easy and quick. Provided many extra towels, sheets, pillows and blankets. The listing had a different couch and dining table in the pictures compared to in person. Location was great, many convenience stores, restaurants and liquor stores minutes away from the house. Bring an air mattress if you don’t like sharing beds, we were a group of 8 and we had brought one just in case. A little cramped but overall for the price/location, great place to go and spend the weekend with close friends. Definitely gonna come back here next time we do another snowboarding trip.

Adequate…but def not cozy
There are beds (of dubious construction) and a kitchen (with one pan) and a couch of indeterminate age that you and your friends can uncomfortably wedge yourselves onto after a day of skiing at Camelback. Only one of the showers is really usable because the other was dirtier than the shower in my brother's senior year dorm. Don't lift up the cushions on the couch: ignorance is indeed bliss. And please please please don't trust your infant to the crib in the master bedroom if you value their life. If you're going to ski at Camelback and you're booking last minute (like I did), you'll survive here. But if you can stay at any other place in the area, do so.

Thank you for your feedback. We take our clients’ comments and concerns very seriously. We are sorry that you didn’t feel as if your expectations were met. Please keep in mind that this is a rental property and the furniture replacement as well as repairs in the house are performed on as needed basis. To be fair, we must point out that you asked to arrive 1.5 hours before regular check-in. Such accommodation was made to meet your needs and prevented us from doing a final inspection of the house prior to your arrival. We are sorry that you we couldn’t “lift” the cleaning fee and allow you to clean the house yourself after your stay. That is our policy. Although your feedback is greatly appreciated, you did not report traveling with children, yet you expressed great concern about the safety of the baby crib in the house. This makes us wonder about the truthfulness and honesty on your part. Once again, thank you for your feedback and your comments and concerns will be taken under consideration as we continue to provide a comfortable stay for our clients.
