When I returned to the front desk to express my concerns, the staff, with a stern expression, informed me that they would move me to a non-smoking room but warned me of a million rupiah charge if I were to smoke. I reiterated that I do not smoke, which was precisely why I had requested a non-smoking room. This was an unpleasant beginning to my stay."
