This was a fantastic onsen hotel!! The staff was extremely helpful in arranging our logistics for walking on the Kumano Kodo trail. The hotel itself was one of the best travel experiences I have ever had. The outdoor onsen (bath) was amazing. The kaiseki 11 course dinner was incrediible - delicious and lovely. I liked the location with nearby hiking and temples. The staff went out of their way to help make my stay enjoyable. They spoke great english and asked about what I was planning to do and provided really helpful suggestions. The food was also incredible. The dinners even came with illustrated instructions. In addition, they have onsen (hot spring baths) in the hotel. I wish I could have stayed another night. Baden var magiska. Fantastisk service från engelskspråkig personal och bra, spännande mat. Byn ligger inom enkelt gångavstånd (5-10 minuter) och är väldigt fin. Dock finns inte mycket service i Yunomine utan man behöver ta sig till Hongu, värt att ta med i planeringen för lunch mm.
