The hotel lobby is spectacular. Bellhops/door attendants, receptionists, restaurant staff, and housekeeping staff are well-dressed, professional, and respectful. We loved our stay at Hotel Majestic Saigon, with an awesome partial view of the river and the street below. However, our room's AC hummed loudly even on the lowest setting. My wife was up until 3 AM. They sent a technician up, but when we returned to our room late in the afternoon, it was still very loud. The manager moved us to a different room; however, later that night, a water pump or similar machinery made loud noises all night. Needless to say, another sleepless night. Another disappointment was that the hotel did not respond to my two emails notifying them that we were excited to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary at the hotel. At check-in, no one mentioned our special occasion. I gently mentioned it to Ms. Khanh; she smiled and escorted us to our room.
