Staff was helpful and friendly however facility is old, dirty and in tough shape. Ocean view in each room with a small balcony. Bathroom is scary. Indoor parking was a plus but elevators are hit and miss. Location is great for walk for dining and site seeing. No micro in room that would have been a plus. Frig was old and the freezer section had no door on it so trying to freeze anything was a waste of time. No kitchen, no room service so eating out was mandatory and the area is overwhelmed with good restaurants' choices but expensive. Many Japanese vacationers so that is why the prices are high in my opinion...food is great but so expensive - be prepared for that. The facility has a nice looking bar/restaurant but has been closed for years...the staff told me that it is only used when Korean students are there and they do their own cooking. Looks like they are staying open hoping for a good buyer who will rehab the whole hotel because of the competition in the area...the location is special. Overall we were able to work around the defects but the was a one in done for us despite the lower price. Maybe that’s why I love the property so much. Although it doesn’t have the huge corporate financial backing as its competitors, it’s still manages to keep its charm. Norwin was our agent who checked us in and he was AWESOME! Super friendly, accommodating and helpful, a true asset to the company. The location of the hotel was a HUGE plus for us as well! Right next to the malls and dining! We barely had to use our car rental. Perhaps because I didn't leave a tip, the housekeeper didn’t clean the room even though I went out in the afternoon and just went home instead.
